What: For your birthday celebration Barrington Ballet offers a variety of ways to have fun, from a ballet or princess themed party to an energetic hip hop party (or a combination of both!).  The studio is yours to decorate in any way you wish! Barrington Ballet provides a themed story to be read, a fun craft and at least 30 minutes of dance / movement instruction!  Craft supplies that are provided include foam materials to make crowns or wands.  If you would prefer a different craft you are more then welcome to plan and bring the appropriate materials.  The 30-40 minutes of dance / movement includes guided instruction for the children, with fun music, using a variety of props, such as bubbles, hula hoops, & parachutes.  A great way to get all the wiggles and giggles out!

Where: Barrington Ballet is located at 47 Maple Avenue, Suite 2, in Barrington RI.  The studio space is yours to decorate.  There is parking in the back of the building with easy drop off / pick up access for other parents. 

When: The studio is available seven days a week, provided there are not other classes that have been previously scheduled.  Please call to schedule your party.

Prices: Prices for birthday parties start at $200.00 for 8 children for a 2 hour party.  Each additional child is $6.00.  Additionally, there is a $50.00 set up and clean up fee.  A deposit for $125.00 is due in advance and is non-refundable.  This secures that the studio will be available for your party at the time you need.  The total for a two hour party, with 8 children, including the set up and clean up fee, and is $250.00.  Additionally, you can purchase Barrington Ballet helium balloons at 12 balloons for $15.00! A very festive addition to your party that match the studio! Pink and white balloons available. For set up please feel free to come early to set up and decorate.

Waivers: You will be asked to sign a waiver releasing Barrington Ballet from any responsibility concerning food allergies with the birthday guests, and any injuries for your own children.  Your birthday guests will be asked to sign a waiver releasing Barrington Ballet from any injuries that may occur while at the party.  The parents can either sign the waiver when they drop their children off, or you can include it with the invitation. 

Food:  Because food allergies are so prevalent please be aware of any party guests that are sensitive to any particular foods.  You are responsible for bringing all foods, snacks, and drinks that you will need at your party.  You may bring whatever you chose, however smaller cupcakes or cookies are recommended because of easy clean up.  Additionally, at the party food is not allowed on the carpet area, but can be enjoyed at the table. 

What you need to bring:

1. any decorations needed and any special tools/ supplies that may be needed to hang decorations
2. Table cloth, paper supplies (plates, napkins, silverware, cups, etc.)
3. any food you will be serving
4. party favors and any fun props you need for the party

What the studio will provide:

1. a clean and party-ready studio space
2. supplies for the craft (unless you are bringing a different one)
3. music and props for dancing and moving
4. a small, child – sized table and chairs – 2 tables available and up to 18 chairs
5. Clean up supplies, including hand wipes, paper towels, trash bags, etc.

3. The order of activities (craft/story/dance/etc.) often times the craft is done first so the children have something to do while waiting for everyone to arrive!
